We are currently recruiting for a Digital Services Architect in Hindlip.
Contract duration: 12 months
Pay : £53,925 – £59,901, Plus a 15% Market Supplement until April 2024.
Purpose:
You will be responsible for the efficient and effective design of any new or changed ICT Service incorporating applications, technical infrastructure, and services to ensure they meet the needs of organisation and customers. The role is predominantly forward-looking leveraging multiple internal and external sources to acquire insight into global ICT industry trends, product and services innovations and product roadmaps and assessing the benefit that these can bring.
This is a multi-faceted position consisting identifying impacts on the user experience and performance of any proposed applications, effects on existing infrastructure services and ensuring these are mitigated but also deliver continued service improvement through alignment with business enterprise, technology, and service strategies to embody a culture of perpetual change and continuous improvement.
To play a strategically key role in determining the future direction of the organisation’s ICT infrastructure and services to meet the force’s own future challenges and strategies to deliver an effective and efficient suite of technological services.
To undertake the role of design authority for all ICT change affecting applications, infrastructure and services. Creation and design of appropriate Architectures that maximise the efficiency of all support scenarios whilst minimising the costs for Service Delivery.
To be responsible for the ICT applications, infrastructure and services architectures for Digital Services, providing insight and direction during the full lifecycle, including planning, design, development and documentation of solutions.
To be responsible for the development and documentation of the ICT Application, Infrastructure and Service Strategy and associated roadmaps.
Provide control and oversight of managing the lifecycle of all application and infrastructure products employed by the force to ensure continuity of service, license conformance and also use it as a key input to the capital budgeting activities.
